Will be located in the New Roads Info Center. Assist in getting the athletes checked in (swag, shirt, bibs, timing chips, swim caps)

Swim Support Volunteer

Details

MEET AT FLOATING DOCK. Ensure that athletes in the water for the warm up swim and race swim are on course and safe during our event. WE CAN PROVIDE PADDLE BOARDS. You can also bring a kayak, jet ski, or your own paddle board.

Transition Support/Body Marking

Details

Meet at Transition. Ensure athletes have proper body marking and are racked in the correct location. Once race starts, direct athletes in and out of transition area. Keep all spectators OUT of transition for racer safety.

Run Course Turn Around

Details

On the run course, ensure that athletes make the turn around at the designated location. The turn around is located at the end of Janis Street, before the RR track. Bring a portable speaker and your loud cheering voice!

Run Course Aid Station

Details

At the start of the run course, man the aid station for the athletes. Cleanup and tear down the station once last athlete is out of transition.

General Tear Down/Cleanup of Course

Details

General site clean up/ tear down. Clean up all trash, pick up all tape markings, roll up snow fencing, return all items to POD.

Finish Line

May 4, 2024

Details

Help hand out medals and water as athletes cross the finish line.

Mount/Dismount

At least 1 more volunteer needed.

Details

Make the racers follow the rules!!

Right outside of transition area, in front of Info Center.

Bike Course

Location

Coordinate to ensure that sheriffs are in position and at the turnaround, provide sag support behind last cyclist. Make sure the mount/dismount line is staffed.
